This page covers the waitlist and this website. For what happens to what you say to the watch, see the home page.
What we collect
- The email address or phone number you type into a waitlist form.
- Which of the two forms you used, the one at the top of the page or the one at the bottom.
- The country you joined from, worked out from your connection. We don’t keep your IP address.
- Your invite code, how many friends joined with your link, and whose link you used, if any. That sets your place in line. This browser also remembers your code, so the page can show your place when you come back.
What we use it for
Only to tell you about Cleo: when pre-orders open, when it ships, and the occasional update along the way. When you join with an email address, we send one welcome email straight away. If you gave us a phone number, we’ll text you instead of emailing. We won’t sell your details, share them for advertising, or add you to anything else.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores the waitlist, and counts visits to the site. The visit count uses no cookies. Cloudflare runs data centres around the world, so your details may be kept outside your country.
- Google delivers our emails, because we send them from our Gmail address.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to take you off the list, or until we close the waitlist, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
Your choices
Write to cleowatch.team@gmail.com and we’ll show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. You can leave the list at any time, and every update we send will say how. If you’re unhappy with how we handled your details, you can complain to your data protection authority: in India that’s the Data Protection Board, and in Europe and the UK it’s your national regulator.
Under 18?
Please ask a parent or guardian to join the waitlist for you.
Who we are
